Hospital Utilization Prediction

Hackathon project hosted by the Lally School of Management and IDEA at RPI. Our team won third prize out of about 28 teams. We mined Area Health Resources Files for all US counties, with thousands of features per county, and predicted hospital utilization with Lasso, SVM, gradient boosting, and random forest models.
